Martyna's Bio

Martyna is an Astrophotographer who’s journey started with using an iPhone and a broken set of binoculars. Growing up, she loved astronomy & the night sky but was too intimidated by the schooling needed to pursue this interest. All it took was for one professor to truly believe in her. Currently, she works with ZWO Astro and is a double major in Astrophysics & Math at SUNY Orange. Martyna is also the president of her school’s astronomy club, & loves educating everyone on anything astronomy (but especially telescopes)!
Martyna joined NOVA as the Guides Lead in an effort to help spread easy access to education on astronomy to everyone!
