Meet the Partnerships Lead!

My love for astronomy started during 3rd grade, when looking up into the stars at night revealed a whole new universe. It stayed with me until around 8th grade, when I drifted away from it for a little while, only to return to it two years later with fresh enthusiasm. Along the way, I attended summer camps where I explored STEM, took Physics classes at BİLSEM, and joined astronomy communities such as Solaris and NOVA. I have also attended many STEM-focused conferences, and I’ve grown especially passionate about the intersection of astronomy and technology. As a result, I am now working on developing myself not only in astronomy and physics, but also in technology.

At NOVA, I serve as the Partnerships Lead, where I focus on developing relationships and creating opportunities that strengthen our community. In this role, I also draw on the communication and PR skills I gained while managing social media and public relations for my FRC team, school podcast team, and STEM build communities such as Kozmik Kafa and GirlsInStemFields, the project that I coordinate with my friends. I may still be in high school, but I’ve learned that big achievements come with big passions.
